It is located in the fuel tank. = Add'l Info = The fuel tank is located underneath the car, just under the back seat. You have to disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors and drop the tank out from under the car. The fuel pump assembly is located in the tank, about the center of the top side. I had to have mine replaced at a dealership, as mine died while I was on vacation and away from home. It cost me about $400. If you don't have a safe, reliable, safe method of safely getting it out from under the car, I recommend taking it to a shop/garage. Also, having replaced pump assemblies on other vehicles myself, I will also say that when and if you change one, you WILL spill gasoline. Gasoline is extremely and highly flammable, and can be explosive under proper conditions. If you are prone to accidents, or inattentive when you are working, do not attempt to do this yourself.
