The matches at Bisley, shoot 100 yards, 300 yards and 1000 yards. No scope just iron peep sights. With the action glass bedded to just forward of the receiver, and the barrel free floated, accuracy of .5 MOA have been attained.

Most of these rifles have now been converted to 7.72 Nato with new barrels fitted.

The .303 has been effective on Moose in Canada. I would not hesitate to say that more moose and deer in Canada have been taken with the .303 than any other of the modern rifles.

The cartridge has been easy to reload. Make sure you use .311 bullets not .308.

|If casting your own lead bullets, cast bullets at .313 then resize to .311.

Military brass uses berdan primers which cannot be removed with a regular center pin on your decapping or resizing die. You must use an off-set pin. Since the primers have been peened into place you need to deburr the pockets before priming. Regular boxer primed cases are readily available for easier reloading. Military brass should be annealed at the necks or they will crack after a few reloads. The .303 is fun to shoot with slightly less velocity than that of a .30-06, however the chamber can be expanded to a wildcat EPPS cartridge where velocities can approach near Magnum loads. The pressures are less than that of a .308. If I recall correctly, I used 4831 Hogden powder pretty well filled to the neck with 180 gr bullets to get optimal results. (Do not try this load without working it up gradually till the primers just show the slightest flattening and NO flow of brass around the firing pin. I remember getting surplus .303 Lee Enfields MK !V for about 20 bucks each - 35 bucks got me a Mark 5 jungle carbine UNFIRED NEW in cosmoline!!

What bullet can you shoot out of a british 303?

Assuming you mean a rifle such as the SMLE, the cartridge used in the .303 Enfield, also called .303 British. See the link below for information on this ammo. However, if you are not certain (some military surplus rifles were rebarreled into other calibers) have a gunsmith take a look at it.

Can you shoot a 303 in a 7.65 caliber rifle?

No.

Can you shoot a 303 british ammunition out of a 30 30 rifle?

No. You wouldn't even be able to get the .303 to chamber in a .30-30 rifle. They're two very different cartridges, in no way interchangeable with each other, and this should not be attempted.
