Look on your intake for the firing order, it should be stamped on tht front raised section of the intake.
The 2.8, 3.1 and 3.4 are all the same block throughout all years. The only thing that really changed was the style of head, the intake, and a roller camshaft. It should be a direct swap for what you are wanting to do however.
The most obvious thing to check when a 1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme won't start is to make sure that the vehicle has gas. You should also check the battery. If the car clicks when you try to start it, it is likely the alternator.
I found it in my repair manual. It is about 26 to 32 psi.
After you remove top plate, hoses,trans lines, fan & shroud it should lift straight up.
timing gearsI've been told by more than one person that my '91 Cutlass Supreme has timing gears instead of timing chain. . I looked in the book and you should have a timing chain.
With the lights on pull on the turn signal lever. High beams should come on. Pull again and they should go off.
If the hazard control is in the dash--may be part of that module - it is in the newer GM vehicles If not it should be in or close to the fuse block
Open the glove box, and there should be a button to pop your trunk
There is a fuel cut-off switch under the hood that needs to be reset. Should be on the left side near the back.
Look inside the driver side door jam is should tell you tire sizes. If you cannot find it, refer to your owners manual.
The 1994 Oldsmobile Cutlass cam sensor is located on the back of the left cylinder head. The cam sensor should be labeled as such.
