Are you talking about Siberia Indiana, Siberia California, or Siberia, the geographical region that constitutes a large percentage of Central Asia and much of Russia? From Wikipedia, Siberia makes up approximately 77% of Russia's territory, so needless to say it is quite large and therefore I can't really give you a definite answer to "how far away is it." However, for purposes of this answer, I will give you a ballpark estimate based on the geographical center of Michigan and the geographical center of Siberia.

The geographical center of Siberia is located at 60° 0′ 0″ N, 105° 0′ 0″ E according to GeoHack. The geographical center of Michigan is 43.6867° N, 85.0102° W according to Google. If we pose a query to Wolfram Alpha to request the geographical distance between these two coordinates (straight shot), it is 5266 miles.

But maybe you are asking for travel purposes? Flights from airport to airport are rarely a straight line; even without layovers and plane changes (which will happen), flights are not straight shots. The distance for a flight will be different from the geographical distance.

I'm assuming you would fly out of Detroit (Metro), and probably, you would want to land in the Tolmachevo airport, which is the third largest city in Russia and the largest Siberian hub. According to Boeing, the average cruise speed of their 737 is 478 miles per hour.

So... 478 miles per hour, multiplied by 15 hours and 25.8 minutes (15.433333...) gives us a rough estimate of the total flight distance of a typical flight from Detroit to the major hub in Siberia... 7377.13 miles!
