What air disaster had the largest loss of life during the vietnam war?

Unknown if it was the "largest loss of life" in the Viet War, but it certainly had one of the largest impacts of the war; Operation Baby Lift, when 5 of the 8 total US military women killed in the Vietnam War died along with large numbers of babies...when their C5 Galaxy transport crashed during take off in 1975. If that crash hadn't occurred only 3 US military women would have died in the Vietnam War.

Approximately untited states military men and women dird in the vietna war or remain missing in actionm?

Over 58,000 men died in the Vietnam War. Women, like WWII & Korea, were part of the WACs in the US Army and were NOT USED in combat nor for combat. Only 8 US Military women died in the Vietnam War...all but one by accidents. The last 5 women killed, were killed in 1975 under the Ford administration when their C5 Galaxy crashed during operation baby lift. When the Vietnam War ended in 1975, the WACs were disbanded.
