You fill it from the overflow jug located on the passenger side of the engine compartment
Coolant goes in the radiator or you can also fill the radiator resevoir.
On a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis : The thread on cap on the engine coolant reservoir is your 16 PSI pressure cap / radiator cap
there may not be one if there is is it on the bottom side and if it is not you candrain it by removing the bottom rad hose The 1999 Pontiac Grand Am does not have a radiator drain valve. To drain the radiator, remove the lower radiator hose. The engine should be cold and the water fill cap removed for venting. I have a 2000 Pontiac Grand AM and radiator drain cock is located at the lower/front (not bottom) at the curbside of the radiator, you will need a hex key to back out petcock. .
Take radiator cap off, fill radiator with coolant, put cap back on!
There is not one. You just have to loosen the bottom radiator hose and open the fill cap on the antifreeze reservoir when the vehicle is cool.
The radiator drain plug should be located on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side. Open that, let the old coolant flow into a drain pan, replace the drain plug once the coolant is out and the radiator is flushed, then fill it up through the radiator cap.
On the coolant bottle. On the coolant bottle.
Fill the radiator through the coolant resivour, which is on the passenger side engine compartment.
THERE IS ACTUALLY A TANK ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR IT WILL BE A YELLOWISH COLOR THAT IS WHERE YOU WANT TO FILL UP YOUR COOLANT IF YOU NEED TO.
There is no radiator cap, you must fill through the coolant reservoir.
Why does the radiator fill up the reservoir
