From birth in an Italian home from parents that only speak Italian. An alternate method that works well is by living in a small Italian village for a couple of year where no-one speaks anything but Italian. There are home schooling methods available that work with for many or you might join the Armed Forces and apply to attend the Defense Language Institute where you are bound to learn. Caution: Today in military history they are seeking very few Italian linguists.

Learn the Basics, Verbs, Nouns, Greetings, Adjectives, Phrases etc... Try and build sentences. Then aloud pronounciation, and speaking properly helps. Sometimes you can find free programs on the computer if there arent classes available for you. Theres also lots of books in your local library.
