See the closely related question to the right. A number of opinions have been given. Some say it just takes some explaining, as with any repair by the home mechanic. The hardest part is removing the fan blade and shroud. You will need a strap wrench because the "special tool" doesn't work on durango water pumps. There are no screws on the pulley for the wrench to secure the pulley with.
um that is hard to say
Not with the proper tools. You will need a 36 mm wrench and a spanner to hold the water pump.
Very difficult, as it is underneath the dash, which is hard to remove.
how hard is it to replace a rear wheel bearing 1999 Honda crv. this crv does not have rear axle's in it. thank you
Not that hard.
Our 99 Durango did this also. Had to replace the ecm under the hood. Dealership wanted $1000 to do it. We found one online for $275 and replaced it ourselves. Wasnt hard to do. The ecm we bought was pre-programmed.
Take it to a shop. It's to hard to do in your driveway unless you've done it before. I am actually having to take my 99 avenger to firestone tomorrow to have water pump replaced.
how to replace water pump on Nissan quest 3.0 1995
It's fairly difficult as you need to replace a seal thing and turn the water off.
A water softener replaces the metals in hard water (like Calcium and Magnesium) with sodium. In order for the sodium to replace the hard metals in the water, the water must be run through a chemical matrix called zeolite. The zeolite beads in the water softener are coated with sodium ions that replace the calcium and magnesium.
how hard is it to replace a water pump on a 1998 chevy venture van?
Take it in to a mechanic....the battery is hard. It will take like 3 hours, like disassembling a rubiks cube.
Easy to replace. Hard to get to.
is it hard to replace a waterpump out of a oldsmobile aurora 95
It depends on how hard you work it.
Not real hard but you need direction. Get a manual on your car from the parts store or from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM. It will cost about $20
You have to drop the fuel tank and the pump is on the top. It is not that hard to do. We just did one in a 1999.
it will take you a day. Yes it is hard and at the same time it is easy. Sooo, if you have never done one before you will be at it all day. $ 358.00 to replace timing belt, and add $ 50.00 for the water pump. Remember the water pump is driven by the timing belt. Sooo, replace both at once. Usually $ 458.00
it is under the timing cover and it is quite hard
You tow your offending 99 Durango to an empty field, fill the entire cabin with highly explosive and flamable materials and blow it to kingdom come where all the other piece of crap Durango should have been shipped straight from the factory! Worst piece of junk Dodge ever manufactured. I am ashamed to say that i was a die hard mopar girl until this monstrosity came into my life. I NOW DRIVE A FORD
it sits just below the intake manifold...hard to get at .
It really depends on what car/truck and what you mean by hard. Some are hard (Durango 4wd any year,2.5 stratus) and some are easy (Neon)
