The Arab rejection of the State of Israel is one of the central reasons for the Arab-Israeli Conflict. The rationale is rather straightforward. Since the Arabs refused to recognize the validity of the state, they promote strongly worded rhetoric opposing it. This motivates citizens of Arab countries to have nothing but hate towards Israel and to be willing to fight to eradicate it. This strong will has led to actual wars against Israel and terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians.

What conflicts are caused by zionism in the middle east?

Zionism is one of numerous causes of the Arab-Israeli Conflict and the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Zionism is the philosophy that the Jewish people should have a nation-state just like the German people, Turkish people, Greek people, and so on. Without Zionism, there would be no State of Israel, and hence any conflicts associated with that state would not exist. However, the mere existence of the State of Israel does not cause conflict; the existence combined with its rejection by its neighbors for various reasons.

Major disagreement between Palestinians and Israel?

The major disagreements between the "Palestinians" and the state of Israel narrow down to two brazen aspects of Israel's behavior in rejection of almost universal world opinion: -- The obstinate insistence of Israel on its right to exist as a Jewish state in the Middle East, and on its unapologetic intention to continue doing so. -- The stubborn refusal of Israel and its people to die in armed conflict, to accept rocketing of their residential areas with a wink and a smile, and in general to relinquish their uppity attitudes and just go away.

What is the ongoing issue in the Arab-Israeli conflict?

How did Zionism create conflict in the Middle East?

Zionism is certainly one of the causes of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. It is not the only cause of the conflict and is also not the most important cause of the conflict. Zionism is responsible for the existence of the State of Israel since Zionism was the Jewish Nationalist movement to establish a Jewish State in the Land of Israel. Without Israel, there would be no Arab-Israeli conflict. However, it is worth noting that while Zionism is a base cause of the Arab-Israeli conflict, numerous other far more lethal conflicts (like the Iran-Iraq War) have nothing to do with Israel.

Why did Israel create an Arab-Israeli conflict?

Israel's very existence provoked conflict. Israelis did not have to do anything to create the Arab-Israeli Conflict, the Zionist Jews' intent to create a state led to violent confrontations by Arabs throughout the 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s, before Israel's independence in 1948.

Why was the the Arab-Israeli War of 1948 one of the most important events in Israel's recent history?

How did Israel Declaration of Independence in 1948 lead to ongoing arabisraeli tensions today?
