  • Students that drop out of school because of peer pressure it is generally because their peers (students) do not accept them and the victim feels lonely; disassociated from having friends to fitting into a group. The victim may also be bullied by one or more people. Sometimes, unknowingly a parent or parents can put too much pressure on their son or daughter or try to drive them in the opposite direction of what their son or daughter wants. Often the son or daughter cannot meet these demands put upon them by their parent or parents. Each one of these problems can be resolved because education is extremely important to the victim in the future. Many students are shy; awkward and readily do not always make friends easily and don't seem to fit in to a specific group, but if they are paying attention there are at least one or two other students that do fit in with the victims personality traits and they could become friends. If the victim is bullied they can report it to the school counselor; a Pastor; their parents and realize that anti bullying laws are being changed to protect the innocent and press charges against the bullies no matter what their age. Students in some schools have started an anti bullying program where they protect victims of bullying; parents and teachers along with police are also becoming more proactive. If a parent or parents are putting too much pressure on the victim then the victim has to calmly sit down with the parent or parents and express their views. No matter what your age you do have some say in what you would love to do for a living. You may be surprised that the parent or parents are actually listening and will try to back off somewhat. If they don't then it is wise for the victim to get through high school and by the time this happens they are 18 and no longer a minor and can have a life of their own, but again, dropping out of school is not the answer because education is a must in society in order to try and have the best job you can get with hopefully a good future.

Peer pressure can lead to school dropouts when students feel pressured to engage in behaviors that are detrimental to their academic success, such as skipping class, engaging in substance abuse, or prioritizing social activities over studying. This can create a cycle of negative influence that distracts students from their educational goals and contributes to their decision to leave school.
