i have visited the leaning tower of Pisa myself and yes it has changed in time. it used to be a falling tower but now it is a great historic landmark.
when it started falling they put cement and pavement around it and named it a major landmark. when you go up it you automically go to one side it is an amazing experience. They said though in 2020 something it is believed to fall completely over which will be a big shame!
i hope i helped!
20 Degrees North East.
It started to lean.
They didn't build it that way, over the years the Tower of Pisa started to tilt
AnswerYes the leaning tower of Pisa is in Italy. The reason why they call it the "Leaning Tower" of Pisa is, because the ground is not stable and it looks like it is leaning over. The "scientists" if that is what you call them have built stilts or poles to keep it from falling over.
absoloutly!
The leaning tower of Pisa is a tower that was built on poor foundation and leans over to one side. It is built in the city Pisa in Italy about 2 hours away from Rome.
Anything can be a landmark but yes, the Tower of Pisa is a building, its also slightly tilting and left alone, it would fall over. -i think the tower of Pisa is a tower(well that's what ive been told by teachers) :-) ADDED: The Tower of Pisa is a building that is also a famous landmark, perhaps more famous because it is leaning over due to the foundations subsiding. (It would have been plumb when built!)
Because its about to fall over.
the center of gravity of the leaning tower of Pisa lies above its base of support, so the tower is in stable equilibrium.
Because otherwise it would fall over.
over 1,000,000
it is held by the ground
Just over 840 years!
