This question could have numerous answers, it is all a matter of perspective. Firstly, all people change and evolve over time. It is not solely aboriginal people who have "changed". Every group of people evolves due to their ecosystems, habitats, technology, politics, culture, society, and experience. People change as indiciduals, but also as nations and countries. A group of people, such as the aboriginals, could experience a change or shift in identity through historical events. It is undeniable that events in the past have shaped the way aboriginal people live in society today. They have changed their ways of living physically, spiritually, and culturally. However, not all tribes have changed at the same speed or in the same way. Location, surrounding society, and the preservation of culture and traditions are to be held responsible for the changes that do take place within an aboriginal community.
