Water hyacinth seems to be able to grow almost anywhere. It is native to the Amazon basin but has found its way into many other areas of the world including the Great Lakes and Africa.

The water hyacinth protects itself by cloning so it multiplies very fast. Poisons don't work on the plant. Fire and explosions don't work on the plant either.
