During the war, women were left to run and defend their husband's land, home and farms. Unsure if they spouses would even come back, they had to make the adjustment of being independent and at the same time, keep to their family responsibilities (home, children, etc). Some women decided to join their husband's in military combat and were rewarded when the war was over. The main thing that changed was the value of education for a woman. Before the war, a woman's place was in the home and any form of education was considered taboo. After the war, a woman was expected to get a 'formal' education in order to pass on the knowledge, mainly of the value of patriotism, to her children.
Apart from having to work hard for somebody else, with punishment waiting if their masters felt like it, they were also subject to sexual abuse.
They were treated just about the same as men, as well as children. Although, women were often rapped.
they umm........go beat um how do i say touched in areas that are a no no they had pretty bad
segregation from whites
The slaves were not treated good at all I guess you can try to imagine jail now and then multiply it by 100 and then you will see how the slaves were treated.
Very badly
The indians were treated horribly, they were beaten by missionaries if they didn't do things right.
The slaves would be whipped, put in irons or have their ear or finger cut off if they ran away. If they rebbeled they would be tied and burned. African slaves were dehumanized and were forced to disassociate themselves from any memory of their culture and family. The owners forced their wills upon the slaves by using overseers, who were often their offspring from female slaves. The slaves were encouraged to separate by skin color and position assigned by the masters on the plantations. The slave was treated as chatel and property and less than the owers favorite pet, causing feeings of inferiority and hate for one another.
well they were treated as slaves, unless they were wealthyy! I found it out, im doing my homework. That is one of my findings;hoped it helped!:)xx
horribly, terribly
Women and slaves were treated unfairly because they were not allowed to be citizens, vote, and did not have any rights.there were no slaves in Sparta, and the women were treated with dignity.

very poorly because they weren't fully spanish
they were treated horribly. they were shackled on capture. they were whipped like they were not human packed together in tight spaces. they were fed horribly were also put in a non-ventilation area.
The women were treated badly and harshly.
Slaves were considered property. Many slave owners treated their slaves quite well because they were valuable, like a good horse. However, some owners treated them poorly because they thought they were just belongings like a table or stool.
Most of the whites treated the slaves horribly. Some treated them fair, but most treated them horribly. They weren't treated like the whites, there were basically treated like dirty rags. The slaves were taken away from their families and never saw them again unless they were freed or ran away. When slaves ran away the got caught. The slave owners killed the slaves by beating them to death.. Nobody wants to be treated like that. They even had little kids working as slaves, the kids only got two shirts a year, and if they got worn out they wouldnt have to go bare naked. Life wasn't easy as a slave.
They were treated like slaves and so forth.
They were treated as the property of the master of the house.
Slaves did not try to get back to their masters because they treated them horribly and acted like they were property. So if a Negro (slave) ran away, they never came back because it wasn't worth it.
they couldn't vote were treated like slaves and would have some one that rules them
