In 'Flowers for Algernon' the love between Charlie and Alice Kinnian is what?

Sad and sweet. He had fallen in love with his teacher, but for reasons of his stunted emotional growth could not properly pursue the relationship, or when having it, consumate it. Near the end, as his IQ was dropping, he was able to consumate it, though. It was rather bittersweet, as both of them knew that he would soon be retarded again.

This temporaily makes the patients active; Leonard has one of the greatest changes and soon wants to live a normal life again. Though, the drug wears off, for the patients bodies' become used to the drug. Dr. Sayer and Leonard both get to see the joys of living.

Does Algernon die in 'Flowers for Algernon'?

In the sense that his IQ plummets to even lower than it was previously. But he does not physically die, rather checks himself into the Warren State Home so that he doesn't have to endure anyone's pity. what happens is he still goes to his job and everything he just is going to die sooner or later i like being annoying but that answers it though
