Christopher Columbus was an explorer, colonizer, and navigator. He was the first modern European to discover America. Many people believed Columbus as a hero due to him "discovered" America, and his extensive trade and discovery, traded with the newly discovered "New World" and islands also. He brings back many new riches, gold, other medals and spices to Europe.

Christopher Columbus had accomplished a great discovery but was still a villain because he destroyed the Native American's lives and developed the slave trade. According to the "The System Of Empire" Indictment; In European system, they didn't value non-Christian as human being, they only count Christian and white as a people, Indian weren't Christian, that made Columbus and his men control them and took their land and make them labor.

Christopher Columbus wanted wealth. When he was mad at his men for not locating gold, he put 1500 Tainos into slavery and shipped them to Spain. This was documented by Spanish priest Bartolome de la Casas. Columbus felt because these Taino were not Christian, this was acceptable behavior.
