There are very few similarities between Spain and Japan. Each is part of a different continent, its peoples are of different races, and they speak totally different languages. Geographically, Japan is an island and Spain is part of the Iberian Peninsula. In economics, Japan is a strong industrial technology based economy while Spain is not known as such.Perhaps one similarity is that both nations have democratic governments.

France has the higher elevation. France - Mont Blanc 4,808 m (15,781 ft) Spain - Pico de Teide (Tenerife) on Canary Island 3,718 m (12,198 ft) There is some room for discussion.
