Halloween in Scotland is just the same as Halloween in any other country. Children dress up in costumes and trick or treat for sweets. Halloween parties are also very popular as it can be extremely cold in a Scottish October!
In the United States, even though Halloween is observed in communities throughout the country, it is not a national holiday.
In northern England and Scotland
It seems as though no one knows. The calendar says Halloween is on Monday, 31st October. Statements say the date will not be altered and that Halloween will be on Sunday.
