I have had many encounters that proves Jesus is real...I will only name one since it is a long story.

One day I was driving in the car with my children and we had just moved to Alabama and there were some tornado warnings and i was not that concerned until i was driving right towards the scariest thing of my life. A tornado. At this point i am panicking because i had to get home but it was in the direction of the tornado. I called my best friend and she said tell the kids to just pray, all u need to do is pray. So I'm praying and having the kids pray and God told me just to drive home so I'm driving straight towards the tornado at this point and i was only 3 minutes from home but it took me 20 minutes, idk why but it did, and some how we got home and the tornado was behind us, on the rode i was driving on, right there. Jesus is real and so are evil spirits and it is not good to mess with those things. I hope my story helped you:).

A:You can never prove that Jesus was real. There certainly was a Jesus who was worshipped by the early Christians, whether always spiritual or a real human, and whether of the first century CE or from an earlier century. The epistles of the Apostle Paul and the evidence of the Book of Hebrews prove that. What is at question must be whether Jesus of Nazareth was a real person who lived in the early part of the first century CE.

The only books we have on the life of Jesus are the gospels, but they were all written long after the time of Jesus by people who might have believed he once existed but only asserted his existence, without proving it. We may say that at least two of the gospels were written by eyewitnesses, Matthew and John, but the New Testament gospels were actually anonymous until the second-century Church Fathers attributed them to the apostles they thought most likely to have been the authors. Modern biblical scholars say that there is no good reason to accept those attributions, and that none of the gospels could have been written by an eyewitness to the events portrayed. We may say that having four independent accounts of the life of Jesus is strong evidence for the existence of Jesus, but New Testament have demonstrated that the Gospels of Matthew and Luke were largely based on Mark's Gospel, and that John was inspired by Luke's Gospel. We only have one original account, and one account written by a Christian evangelist is not proof.

We may say that because Josephus appears to have mentioned Jesus in Antiquities of the Jews, this is proof that Jesus is real. But Antiquities was published in 93 CE, two entire generations after the time Jesus is said to have lived, and was already based on Christian hearsay.

Paul certainly preached the worship of Jesus, but seems not to have realised that Jesus was a person who had lived and died in Palestine in the recent past. Philo of Alexandria was a near-contemporary who wrote about every Jewish religious movement of which he knew, but he never mentioned Jesus. These provide plausible evidence from silence that Jesus of Nazareth was a literary invention of Mark's Gospel.

Another Answer:

The proof of Jesus is very real and easily available to anyone who is sincere and willing to look. However, our 'modern' culture today is replete with both old and new ideas about the Bible - in turn about its main character, Jesus of Nazareth. Historical relativism helps spawn the popular idea of evolution which now dominates scientific curricula and is contrary to Biblical teachings. This 'historical relativism' states we can't know for sure what happened in the past, so we are left with different opions or interpretations of those events. It's like saying I got my 'truths' and you can have yours.' Its all relative.

In addition to the Bible's internal proof of its authenticity, Lee Strobel provides further evidence in his book The Case for the Real Jesus (2007) that the Jesus of the Bible did indeed exist. And with ever increasing occurrences, archaeological discoveries have repeatedly verified portions of the Bible that were previously considered fables by unbelievers.

So to recap the approach suggested above, read the Bible with an open mind realizing the Old Testament God, the Word, was to become Jesus and many of these Scriptures actually point to this event. Next, there are as many pro as there are con writings for the proof of Jesus' existence. Read as many as you can from both aspects to prove to yourself. Lastly, look at the many archaeological finds, especially in recent years and see how they disprove the 'facts' of the past. Your eyes will be opened wide. Only you can prove to yourself whether you will believe in His existence or not. It requires time and work on your part.

Today, few will dispute the fact that a man named Jesus lived 2,000 years ago in Judea who many called a great teacher and His teachings had a vast impact upon the world from then to present. Given this then, we must evaluate what He said and determine the veracity of it. This then is quite a long discussion so for the sake of time, consider this writing about Jesus:

The renowned Christian writer C.S. Lewis observed: "I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher ...

"You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronising nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to" ( Mere Christianity, 1996, p. 56).

PS: Jesus Christ is real whether or not you think he was the son of God. He did exist. The real question here should be does Jesus Christ exist and is he really the son of God.

Jesus Christ is real to those who believe. He is not real to those who do not. It is simply a matter of faith.
