checking antibody levels
The adaptive immune system is activated if the innate immune system is unable to control the infection.
It can build up white blood cells to fight against the infection and if it is present again you will all ready be immune to it. That is why vaccinations have a small amount of the infection in them, so you can become immune to it later.
Epilepsy is not an infection or a virus or anything like that, so the immune system is not relevant to it. You cannot "catch" epilepsy from someone. So the immune system does not respond to epilepsy. There is nothing that it can do.
Opportunist infection
That is what HIV does. However a super infection, multiple strains of HIV infection or duel infection,HIV with hep c etc will degrade the immune system further.
It sounds like this is schoolwork for someone somewhere...without an immune system, our bodies are left undefended against foreign invaders. The first opportunistic pathogen (this could be a virus, a bacterium, a fungus, or a parasite) to infect an individual without an immune system will likely result in this person's death. That is, someone without an immune system (the body's defense against infection), a person cannot live unless they are completely isolated from any source of infection.
You can't

immune system
your immune system and your White blood cells produce antibodies
Oh yes. Your immune system is what fights infections and with out your immune system you will get all kinds of infection and it can be fatal.
The white blood cell fights off infection in the immune system.
