The original Macintosh computer displayed in monochrome (black and white). Since the original Macintosh is now 23 years old, as you can expect, the original Macintosh was considerably slower and had much less memory. Perhaps the most immediate difference that would strike you, after the different shape of the computer physically, would be the absence of the application bar on the bottom of the screen. However, there are many characteristics which have been retained over the years, not the least of which is the Macintosh approach to menus. Made in 1985 so bye

If you compare an Apple computer with a similar Windows computer of the same quality there is very little difference in price. A Mac is also faster, easier to use, requires no security software, that will slow it down and holds it's value. Remember the old adage, you get what you pay for. Apple computers are not perfect but they have far less problems than Windows computers.
