I'm not actually too sure
Biomass is the amount of living matter in a given habitat, expressed either as the weight of organisms per unit area or as the volume of organisms per unit volume of habitat. Biogas is any gas fuel derived from the decay of organic matter, as the mixture of methane and carbon dioxide produced by the bacterial decomposition of sewage, manure, garbage, or plant crops.
The main component of biogas is methane.
Biogas is produced through animal waste.
A biogas is a complex mixture, not a single compound.
in what way are composting and biogas production similar
false
False
Using biogas as fuel.
Biomass is the combination of animal waste or dung, crop wastes or agricultural waste. While biofuel is the fuel or energy produced by using crop waste, the product is ethanol which is used as a fuel. Biogas is methane which is produced by fermentation of animal dung in the fermenter or biogas plant.
No, biomass, biogas, biodiesel and other biofuels are all renewable.

Biomass can be used to generate electricity and to fuel our cars. Biomass generates electricity when the biogas is burned and this turns a turbine or a generator creating electricity. It fuels our cars by turning corn into ethanol for our cars. Hopefully this helps...:D

You have to burn trash, harvest crops, and burn dead animals to make biomass a source that we can use.
Fuel is not made from biomass. Biomass is a fuel, usually waste vegetation of some kind, like bagasse, which is the remains of sugar cane after the sugar has been removed. Biogas, and biofuel like ethanol, are also made from vegetation or from animal manure (which is usually rotting vegetable matter).
Biomass is the waste produced by cattle and other farm animals, human's sewage and wastage from crops. This, as it decomposes, releases methane (called biogas in this context) which can be stored and used to cook with or heat water. Biogas is much more common in LEDC's (less economically developed countries) as it is very self sustainable and cheap to install with help from aid agencies. It provides an alternative to chopping down trees for fires.
