The second coil winding is called the "secondary," and when the flow of electrical current established in the primary winding is turned off, then a current is INDUCED in the secondary winding causing a tremendous increase in voltage at the secondary coil's output to the spark plug.IF, and I emphasize IF, you are getting electrical current TO the coil pack and yet NO output from the pack, then the pack is defective.This is usually caused by a broken or burned through wire in one of the two [the primary or secondary] coil windings.I have never heard of anyone successfully "rebuilding" an ignition coil so this means the coil must be replaced. However, before spending the money to replace an ignition coil, I strongly suggest that you make sure that the coil is being supplied with the proper voltage and signal pulse.There is nothing I hate worse than spending the money and time to replace a component to only discover later that the replacement did not solve the problem, and thus meaning that the replaced component was probably good and did not need replacement!!!!!

Each coil pack is held on with 7 bolts. Remove the bolts and the coil pack will pull off. Each coil is connected to its spark plug by a rubber shunt which may hold fairly tight, so you may need to pry a bit to get the coil pack loose. The coil pack electrical plug (on the end) is held on with a clip that must be removed to release the connector.

spark plugs are under the coil pack (4 cyl). coil pack is easily removed by removing the 4 bolts. be careful to not bend pins when unhooking the electrical connention at the right side of the coil pack. once the coil pack is off it will become clear how to get to the plugs. a long extension will be required to reach the plugs.
