Within the reasoning capabilities of mankind and the all to often jump to conclusions without physical support (think missing links here), the theory of evolution being taught today in nearly all schools, is a biological explanation of how creatures have supposedly "evolved" or developed progressively through natural selection and variation (now known as mutation) over eons of time from the tiny cell to the largest creatures on Earth today. What is taught in classrooms is not mere micro evolution which The Bible supports - small changes within a species over time per the environment - but macro evolution, which is the change from one type of creature (say a lizard) to another quite distinct life form (let's say we humans).
Besides the fact that there isn't any hard and viable proof for these intermediary or transitional forms of development occurring in the fossil record, we only need to read most any evolutionary explanation to see that it is full of assumptions. Further, evolution goes against long-standing scientific laws - biogenesis in Biology for example states that life can only come from life - think which came first the chicken or the egg. There is the other problem of 'symbioses' which is one specie needing another totally different specie to live. Think flowers and bees here. How does one live without the other - especially before man? Lastly, consider how all things are perfectly design or engineered in our world. A simple tree according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture states that it provides the cooling affect of a 10 room air conditioner running for 20 hours a day. Now ask yourself if something so well developed happened by mere chance - the random and undirected evolutionary process.
The above has just described how to disprove the 'molecules to man theory' called Evolution with the acronym 'FALSE'above. Some of the above also disproves today's modern compromise of Theistic evolution which is simply the man-made notion that God used macroevolution over eons of time in forming the creatures we see on earth today.
Both evolution and creation could be thought of as possible, depending on what form of evidence you wish to accept.
Science has established that species did evolve from earlier species, as a result of nearly two hundred years of research and much careful study. However, science does not take a position on the existence or otherwise of God (or, in fact, af any gods), considering that to be outside the proper domain of science.
While it would now be difficult to argue that evolution has not taken place, it is possible, as many Christians do, to believe that evolution occurred under God's guiding hand. Scientists have no problem with that belief, as long as it does not conflict with the empirical evidence.
And many Christian denominations now accept evolution as an appropriate explanation for the natural world.
The position of the Catholic Church:
Pope Pius XII stated in his encyclical Humani Generis (1950) that there was no opposition between evolution and the doctrine of the faith and that he considered the doctrine of "evolutionism" a serious hypothesis, worthy of investigation and in-depth study equal to that of the opposing hypothesis; Pope John Paul II, in an address to the Pontifical Academy of Sciences (1996), said that new knowledge has led to the recognition of the theory of evolution as more than a hypothesis; Pope Benedict has refused to endorse "intelligent design" theories, instead backing "theistic evolution" which considers that God created life through evolution with no clash between religion and science.
The position of the Episcopal Church: The Episcopal Church has said that the theory of evolution does not conflict with Christian faith. In 2006, the General Convention affirmed, via Resolution A129, that God is creator and added that "the theory of evolution provides a fruitful and unifying scientific explanation for the emergence of life on earth, that many theological interpretations of origins can readily embrace an evolutionary outlook, and that an acceptance of evolution is entirely compatible with an authentic and living Christian faith." The Church of England also accepts evolution and is considering a motion to apologise posthumously to Charles Darwin for criticising his Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection.

Yes. However, it is possible to PROVE the validity of evolution on an evidential basis.
Evolution is scientific fact. Creation is religious faith masquerading as real science.
They do not believe in evolution; only creation.

evolution can be proven that is why it is a fact, The biblical creation is a belief and not proven.

What are the differences between creation and the theory of evolution
Fundamentalists are at odds with the teaching of evolution because they believe it is not compatible with the teaching of creation. They believe the Bible teaches creation.

Nevada is pretty evolution friendly when it comes to its science standards. Nevada is also one of the few states that doesn't have a big evolution-creation controversy.
