Basically, If the sun had no gravity we would be drifting off into space and we wouldn't orbit anything. but Because the sun has gravity it pulls the planets in, allowing them to orbit the sun.
Without the gravity of the sun there would be nothing to stop us from flying out into the cold darkness of space. As a matter of fact without the force of gravity there would be nothing if that could exist but an infinitesimally fine misty characterless soup that would never bind together.
Gravity is important in many ways, if it didn't exist their won't be a universe in the first place no life on earth or life on a ny undiscovered
It is the universal force of attraction that acts between all bodies that have mass.
Though it is the weakest of the four known forces, it shapes the structure and evolution of stars, galaxies, and the entire universe. The laws of gravity describe the trajectories of bodies in the solar system and the motion of objects on Earth, where all bodies experience a downward gravitational force exerted by Earth's mass, the force experienced as weight. Isaac newton was the first to develop a quantitative theory of gravitation, holding that the force of attraction between two bodies is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them. Albert Einstein proposed a whole new concept of gravitation, involving the four-dimensional continuum of space-time which is curved by the presence of matter. In his general theory of relativity, he showed that a body undergoing uniform acceleration is indistinguishable from one that is stationary in a gravitational field.
Gravity is hugely important to the gross structures of the universe, not just within with solar system, but for the galaxy, galactic clusters, and so forth. It is amazingly weak compared to the other forces of physics, but it acts over vast scales. Because it binds matter, it causes the universe to be "clumpy" rather than have matter evenly distributed. This gives rise to the existence of planets themselves, which are gravitationally bound into their spheroid shape; and to their orbits around a common center of gravity near the sun. It allows stars including the sun to burn due to the mass causing matter to compress to a point where nuclear fusion can begin, and counterbalances the outward pressure from the heat so created, to allow stars to exist and continue to shine; providing energy for Earth and sustaining life. The gravity of the outer planets also has a protecting influence for Earth by helping the inner solar system to be clear of dangerous potential collisions with rogue objects.
There are other reasons gravity is important within the solar system but, again, perhaps the most significant is its contribution to the shape of matter on large scales and to the universe itself.
If there was no gravity on Earth then everything would be floating in air. Gravity if keeps things on the ground.
In Solar system gravity is responsible for keeping planets in place. For example The gravitational pull of earth keeps the moon revolving around it. The gravitation pull of moon keeps it from crashing on Earth.
It keeps us from floating away and keeps the planets fro crashing in together.
Gravity is important to the existence of atmospheric pressure, because it helps to control the air space.
Because gravity is the main force that acts between large celestial bodies over long distances.
what is importance of centre gravity?
If it weren't for gravity, we would fly off the earth.
gravity is an important force to people because, without gravity we would not know the difference between top andbottom.......in a scientific research scientists took two pregnant lab rats and sent one to space and had another on earth (i.e. one rat under influence of gravity and another hindered from gravity). The offsprings of the rat in space did not know the bottom when brought back to earth and wasn't able to stand.....And plus gravity is found to help people grow bones.....
Gravity affects the fabric of space-time. So both space and time will be distorted.
with no gravity in space you essentially can fly around. you weight a 1/3 of your normal weight on the moon.
To start off, there is indeed gravity in space. Objects in orbit only seem weightless because they are already in freefall. Gravity is the main forces that affects objects in space and can be used to change a trajectory. You can also change your speed and direction in space by firing rockets.
It is a common misconception that gravity does not exist in space. The truth is that in space, gravity is the most important force in governing the movement of large objects. You cannot plot a trajectory in space without understanding gravity.
it is important to us because if we didn't have it we will be flying around in space.
There is gravity in space. Gravity is everywhere. You can never escape gravity.
You can't actually have a planet without gravity. Everything would just fly away into space, if it was not held together by gravity.
There is gravity in space. Gravity is what makes orbits possible.
There is gravity in space. It intensifies as you approach a mass.
In outer space, there is virtually no gravity.
gravity is everywhere
In space, there is no gravity to overcome. The chllenge to astronauts is how to deal with the lack of gravity.
Earth: Space: - is a planet - No gravity - supports life - Vaccum - gravity - No gravity or atmosphere - atmosphere
There is gravity in space. Gravity is all pervasive, it is everywhere. It intensifies as you approach a mass.
gravity has no effect to space ad weight show
