The t-mobile 4g hotspot service using your smartphone on the MTA Metro North line is weak at best. It's very spotty, so if you have to count on service for a conference call (e.g. Skype) I wouldn't recommend it. But if you just have to email, it should be fine.
phone service but Verizon is the best some other great phone services are t-mobile, and metro pcs

T-Mobile is definately better. It covers many areas that Metro does not.
You can buy a jailbroken unlocked phone from eBay and the metro pcs people will hook it up :):):):):):)
No you can NOT use metro service with the LG cookie
This is a common experience among mobile phone buyers. It's more ideal to get mobile phones from service providers or brand new from the phone manufacturers.
Many companies, such as ATT, T-Mobile, Verizon, and Tracfone offer cheaper pay-as-you-go options. If you are looking for a contract, Boost Mobile and Metro PCS offer affordable contracts.

There are many downsides to MetroPCS, such as the internet is not really good, unless you live in a populated metro zone like Florida. Metro's 4G speed seems like T-Mobile's 3G speed. An advantage is that, its really affordable, but the downside is the bloatware that comes with Android phones. And another thing is the greatest upside is the charge of $5 to send unlimited texts and calls to a country such as Mexico or England. Those are downsides and upsides to Metro's service.
