I think it has something to do with the amount of protons. I would try looking that up on Google. =) or bing or something, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the protons. Sorry if I'm wrong.....

Now the Atomic Mass measurements are made by mass spectrometry.

What are atoms mass given in?

Atomic mass is usually measured in "Atomic Mass Units", which are about 1.660538921(73)×10−27 kg.

What is the unit of weight for elements?

The unit of weight for elements is typically measured in atomic mass units (amu) or grams. The atomic mass unit is defined as one twelfth of the mass of a carbon-12 atom.

The molar mass of an element is the mass of one?

The molar mass of an element is the mass of one mole of atoms of that element, measured in grams per mole. It is calculated by summing the atomic masses of the atoms in a chemical formula.

What is the molar mass of the protein?

The molar mass of a protein is the total mass of all the atoms in one mole of that protein. It is typically measured in grams per mole (g/mol).

Which is the amount of matter in an object?

The amount of matter in an object is determined by its mass, which is a measure of the total mass of particles (such as atoms and molecules) within the object. Mass is typically measured in grams or kilograms.

Do atoms have nass and volume?

Atoms do not have mass or volume in the traditional sense, as they are individual particles that make up matter. Instead, we typically refer to the mass and volume of a collection of atoms, such as a molecule or a sample of a substance. Atoms themselves are incredibly small and do not have a defined volume, but they do have mass, which is usually measured in atomic mass units (amu).

Does gas have definite mass?

Yes, gas has mass. The mass of a gas is determined by the number of gas particles present and the type of gas molecules. The mass of gas can be measured using a balance or by determining the mass of the container before and after the gas is added.

How do you know gas has mass?

Gas has mass because individual gas particles are composed of atoms or molecules that have mass. While gas particles are very spread out and move randomly, they still have mass due to the mass of the atoms or molecules they are made of. This mass can be measured using scales or other experimental methods.

What unit is the mass of a plane measured in?

Mass is measured in kilograms.

Which of these is a measure of the quantity of matter that exists in an object?

The quantity of matter in an object is its mass. If you then know what the object is made from you can find out (approximately) how many atoms or molecules it has (measured in mol).

What is Measure of the amount of matter in object?

The measure of the amount of matter in an object is known as its mass. Mass is typically measured in kilograms or grams and reflects the quantity of particles (atoms and molecules) present in the object.

Mass is measured with what?

Mass is measured with a Triple Beam Balance. Yes it is.
