What is the climate of America?
Africa is HUGE. There are deserts, tropical rain forests, savannas, fynbos, mountains beaches. Etc etc etc there is almost every type of climate in Africa
Well, it's exactly that... "tropical" it can rain for up to 300 days per year, normally thundershowers every afternoon with torrential rain. In some areas the rainfall can be up to 3000mm per year or higher.
Temperatures vary depending on distance from the sea, and range anywhere between 25 degrees C and 40 degrees C. There is a marginal "seasonality" between the "wet season" and the "dry season", this becomes more pronounced the further you get away from the equator.
The relative humidity also varies and can range from 30% RH up to 90% RH.
There are many climates in southern Africa. There are deserts, mountains, beaches, tropical forests etc - it sometimes even snows in winter in places like Lesotho.
over 100 degrese or more annual rainfall is 1" to 5" or <5 south {more nw} and 0.5"or 2" =D

It's usually wet in winter and dry in the summer. Of course they live in Africa mostly so that's the climate.
The Cape has a Mediterranean climate. The rest of the country does not have a Mediterranean climate (i.e has Summer rainfall) but is still warm
South Africa has a savannah climate. It is very hot during the summer months and moderately cold during the winter months.
In South Africa...It's Hot! Western Cape has Meditteranean climate, Kwazulu/Natal has Sub-tropical, central and northern part has summer rainfall, and so on.warm mostly hot and rarely cold
It will be summer as well, however, as SA is much further south it will have a more pronounced seasonal variation than New Delhi.
