it is because as we knowargentina is a contry that lies in south america and there is sotheast pacific ocean. actually there is the pampas grassland in argentina where there is a lot of / right amount of grass for the grazing of many more cattle. as same as the climate and the soil of argentina is also much more suitable for growing much more grass in pampas grassland . so there is no lack of grass for cattle grazing because of that the catlle like cows , buffaloes , goat , sheep etc have diet they grow and develop properly and give alot of milk. as same as sheep rearing need a lot of grass which is in argentina.
Wales has a lot of upland pasture (mountainside slopes which are low enough for good grass, but not suitable for arable farming). Such pasture is not suitable for Cattle (which prefer level fields) but makes excellent grazing for sheep. This is also the reason why Scotland and New Zealand are prime sheep areas.

TMR = Total Mixed Ration. It is useful only when a cow is being confined in a barn, and not on pasture. So if you are referring to a large herd of dairy cattle that are confined in a barn, then yes it is good to feed them TMRs. But it defeats its purpose when you are grazing the cattle out on pasture.
It depends on where the cattle farming is taking place. Some areas where people have little ideas of how to properly graze their cattle, the erosion in those areas is high. But in areas where farmers and ranchers are maintaining good to great grazing practices, there is little to no soil erosion happening.
