buffer
a large component of meat in the diet tends to decrease pH, while a large component of plant-based material in the diet tends to increase pH
KCl is a salt having Ph 7, it is highly ionizable.yet a small leakage of ions from the reference electrode is needed, forming a conducting bridge to the glass electrode. A pH meter must thus not be used in moving liquids of low conductivity. Sushant kumar
eating foods with a neutral pH, or slightly alkaline, like greens, and less sweet foods.
Dextrose is a solid so it doesn't really have a pH until it is in solution. Once it is in solution, it would depend on what the solvent was and the concentration of the dextrose. So it could range greatly, but most are kept around 6.4.
PH levels make sure water is not to acid.
buffer systems
Adjusts pH upward. Sodium hydroxide can also be used if necessary--for large pH shifts or very large batches.
6.5 to 8.3___________________ Oscars can be kept as said above in a wide range of PH, however they do best in a neutral PH as do most other South American Cichlids which Oscars are. (Neutral PH is 7.0)

It denatures it.

It is normaly due to sodium leakgae out of the cation resin bed .
