Please does anyone know about canadian immigration system Im a single parent my 2 kids(3yrs) are citizens but im not. We live outside canada. Their biological father filed for them. Need info. on benefits for children and non citizen mother. Thanks.?

Canada is really good about immigration but it still does take a while. You have to go to canada with a skill however, you can't just become a citizen to become a citizen, that your children are citizens is certainly a point in favor of you, however, they still will require certain things from you.

Is it proper to forfeit british benefits of a british national if outside of UK and stuck in a country because of medical condition?

The European Court of Justice ruled on 18 October 2007 that the British Government were in contravention of European Law in not allowing the export by citizens of three disability (sickness) benefits - Disability Living Allowance, Carer's Allowance and Attendance allowance - when moving within the EU; nor in the withdrawal of those benefits from existing expatriate members of the EU. To date, only two citizens have had their benefits reinstated with back payment - both on the order of sitting judges of the Upper Tribunal Appeals procedure. In two years, only three tribunal appeals have been held on this issue, despite constant pressure from the few hundred citizens affected whose appeals are being 'held-over' in blatant contravention of their human rights.
