It takes about half an hour.
Dogs can get away with being in cars for a short amount of time. But if you keep them in there for a VERY long time (30 min. or more) then they can get really sick and overheat or die. If you're driving and the car is hot, that's a different story. The car will cool down eventually if the air is on or the windows are open.
You do not need to wait to lt the brakes cool down from city driving, if you are in a race on the other hand everything changes. If your brakes are bright orange when you get out of you car then you should check the oil coolant system.
It depends how long you're heating it.
If you only ran 15 minutes it shouldn't be very long of a cool down. Just don't sit down after, your legs will get really sore

take it out of the oven and leave on a raised surface. leave for as long as it takes to cool down. Ten to 15 minutes should be plenty.
Driving on lower RPM's will reward you with higher gas mileage in addition to putting less wear on the engine. So, low RPM will be cheaper in the long run.
you left the light for too long. turn it off for a while and it will cool down
