Well, it depends. Not having them on a daily bacsis is bad becuase that can lead to an eating disorder. If you skip it hear and there that's ok.

If you are an adult and know this man well enough to know it is safe to be with him, then yes, it is perfectly ok to ask a man out to dinner...of course, you should expect to *pay* for the dinner as well. Most men like having some of the "dating work" done for them...it takes the pressure off of them. There are some men who still believe that they should always be the ones to do the asking, but in my opinion, they would not be fun to date anyway. Always make sure you are in safe circumstances when dating.
It is okay for a person to change their eating habits every couple of weeks. It is imparitive to look for any drastic changes that can effect your long term heallth, however.
This is a alpha/beta issue. She is checking with you to make sure it is OK that she starts eating. When you pet her she takes that action as it meaning to be OK and starts eating.
