The portion of 59th Street that borders the park is called Central Park South, the portion of 8th Avenue that borders the park is called Central Park West, and the portion of 110th Street that borders the park is called Central Park North. The simplest way would be to walk west to Broadway, and then walk north on Broadway to 34th Street. Macy's is at 34th Street and Broadway. The foot of the Brooklyn Bridge is at City Hall Park, and Broadway forms the western border of City Hall Park. When you get to 14th Street-Union Square, Broadway's path is broken by Union Square Park. Broadway cuts off at the southeast corner of the park (at 14th Street), and its path resumes at the northwest corner of the park (at 17th Street). So you have to walk through the park or around it to get back onto Broadway.
