I gained 40 pds in three months on seroquel. With me the weight loss began immediatly as well as my hunger pains subsiding. I have been off of it for 2 months and have lost 30 pds. I have been taking seroquel for 5 years. Initially I gained 50 pounds, but after starting a healthy eating programme and gentle excercise the pounds are starting to come off.

Seroquel is definitely the weight gainer. I've been on and off Depakote before with very little weight fluctuation, however with Seroquel I had not only a huge appetite that forced me to eat more, but I put on 20lbs in 2 weeks! I was really not into Seroquel at first, but it really did help with my mania.

I take seroquel and the only immediate reaction I have ever had to seroquel is extreme drowsiness, unstable walking and bad hunger pains. Ive been taking seroquel for about 5 weeks now and I also am drowsy and tired all the time. I can go to sleep anytime. I also have unstable walking yet also like a tired and dragging-myself-along kind of walking. I feel like my posture has changed too because I am constantly slouching and my neck is down low. Before I started taking seroquel I always had good posture.
