It takes only a half an hour for the de wormer to kill worms in Dogs. But Dogs in heat have a natural inhibition to the drugs.
if the cat has tapeworms and you give them these pills called "tapeworm tabs" then the worms should be killed within a day and then pooped out later
Prescription de-wormers like Drontal will begin working immediately. However you should follow up with another dose 2-4 weeks later, as directed by your vet.
How long it takes to remove worms depends on what kind and how badly infested the cat is. Basic cat wormer usually works in a week.
until you cure them with a visit to the vet
It is better just to go to the veterinary supply store, or feed store and pick up some wormer. Or take the dog to the vet. I don't know how you can make a dog eat enough vinegar to kill worms, and I can only imagine that it would not be healthy for the rest of the dog.
within 1 to 12 hrs
Bob Martin Dewormer is designed to kill the round worms contracted by horses. It usually takes a day or two to kill every roundworm.
About 10 days.
Rabbits do not need regular de-worming medicine like dogs or horses. They only need de-wormer if they actually have worms. You will know if your rabbit has worms because you will see them in the poop. DO NOT DE-WORM YOUR RABBIT UNLESS YOUR RABBIT OBVIOUSLY HAS WORMS!!! I don't know how old the rabbit has to be, but I don't think there is any minimum age. If you do discover worms in your rabbit's poop, TAKE HIM TO THE VET IMMEDIATELY!!! DO NOT BUY DOG OR CAT DE-WORMER AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT THE AMOUNT YOURSELF!!! YOU WILL PROBABLY MESS UP AND KILL YOUR RABBIT!!! So, bottom line, if your rabbit has worms, take him to the vet and let the vet worry about the medicine.
Depends on the wormer. The products that are systemic last much longer. Feed through products and those that only kill parasites in the intestinal tract have a much shorter activity period. Products like moxydectin deposit in the animal's adipose tissue and continue to be released over time. This is the reason this anhelmenthic is not recommended for foals or animals that are underweight.
About 1-4 days but redosage of the medication is reccomended 2weeks after initial treatment to kill any worms that may have hatched.
Take your dog to the vet!
It can take little while for the worms to clear the system otherwise the worms may be resistant to the the wormer you are using. If this is the case then repeat dosing will do no good. I would talk to your vet about getting a different one.
If you can you should take this dog to a vet to get looked at and from there you will get either a liquid or pill wormer that will get rid of the worms. There are diffrent kinds of worms round worm which is a long worm that looks similar to spagetti, Tap worm which looks likes pieces of rice, Hookwork which is a short worm and will shape into the from of a hook on the end and Whip worm which is a smaller worm that usually starts out fater and gets thinner as it goes. If you cannot get this dog to a vet you can buy any dog wormer at a pet store but it may not be as effective and could hurt you dog if not dosed correctly so make sure you read the directions before buying and make sure you look at the weight doesage for the dog. hope this helps =]]

He may be very uncomfortable and trying to scratch an itch. It could be very dry, or there may be a parasite. Maybe time for a visit to the vet. Answer Sounds like worms to me. I would go to a pet store and get a wormer. Get one for tape worms, round worms and hook worms. If your dog still does that, then I'd go to the vet. But I use to work for a vet clinic, was actually going to go to vet school. If I can take care of it myself, I do.
