The bacteria will remain until antibiotics are taken to eliminate it from the body, or until your immune system clears it. Chlamydia can damage the body, but the germ is gone after effective treatment is completed. Patients being treated should avoid oral, anal, and vaginal intercourse; genital-genital contact; and sharing sex toys until the infection is cleared. Patients won't be contagious after completing seven days of treatment, or after seven days following single-dose treatment for chlamydia.

In women, 80% to 90% have no symptoms of chlamydia, and about 50% of men can have chlamydia without having symptoms. It is possible for a person or a couple to have chlamydia for years without knowing. (See related link).

If you're having pain with urination more than a week or so after completing chlamydia treatment, see your health care provider. If you are having any other sort of pain, call your health provider today, regardless of where you are in treatment.

You should not considered yourself cured for seven days even if you took the medication in one dose. After treatment, you should avoid sex (even with a condom) for seven days after single-dose treatment, or until seven-day treatment is complete.

Symptoms of chlamydia will stay with you for 2 weeks after taking all of your medication. If you're still having symptoms two weeks after treatment is complete, or if the symptoms are severe, talk with your health care provider about a second examination. Any damage that chlamydia caused may call long-term symptoms, so continuing symptoms should be evaluated.
Well that could actually be a Yeast infection or BV (Bacterial Vaginosis), because when in some women's case when they take antibiotics, it tends to give them a yeast infection or BV (which is similar to yeast very common). But yes it could also mean the chlamydia isn't gone yet, it takes a little more than 2 weeks to treat something like that, go back to the Dr. tell them you think it either didnt clear up all the way yet or the antibiotics gave you yeast or BV.
I would look for an alternate diagnosis

It only takes one unprotected sex act to transmit chlamydia or any other sexually transmitted disease. But with protection in the form of a condom, the disease is not transmitted.

Some chlamydia tests may remain positive for weeks after treatment, and others may become negative right away. Ask you health care provider for information based on the test he or she uses.
