If the bottle is tightly capped-- years and years and years- longer than you will lve.

Perhaps you are referring to distilled water in a glass bottle- eventually the glass will dissolve enough to cause some measurable impurities, but you could still drink it without any harm.

It will take vitually the same time as non-tap water, because it's the water that evaporates, leaving behind the solids. And how long it takes depends on how hot it is, what the humidity of the air into which it's evaporating is, and whether the air is moving or not. Drying clothes on a hot windy day will be a lot quicker than on a cold, still, damp day. You surely know that, yet you asked the question!

tap water doesnt spoil.its water.the only way bacteria will grow if air gets to it when it is in an enclosed container.or if you add food to it.
