With most piercings about 15-20 mins to a few hours, when it's new (under a year old). It really depends on how old the piercing is the older the longer you can leave the barbell out, however I wouldn't suggest doing this till the piercing is a year old just to be on the safe side.

Just a couple of hours, if that. Tongue piercings close extremely quickly, no matter how long you've had them. I had one for over a year, took it out for eight hours, and it had closed in that time.

There isn't a set time...everybody is different, no matter how many months or years you have had a piercing. Some people's will close in a matter of minutes, other people's will never close.

Is it normal for some one to swallow weird after a tongue piercing?

Naah, Your probably gonna die.. awk << WRONG!! << You swallow weird after a tongue piercing because it is swollen... I know because I have one of my own... it should take up to a month to heal if you don't move your tongue... Mine took a week for the swelling to go down but if it is swollen after a month then you weren't moving your tongue... If it helps you put crushed ice one your tongue and you will be okay...

Lip rings have to stay in?

They have to stay in for a month before you can switch rings. Once you take it out, your piercing will start closing, you'd be surprised how fast they close

Can you remove your tongue piercing before six weeks?

Usually a tongue piercing only needs about a month for the fistula to be formed enough to change jewelry. although, if it still feels sore or seems raw, I would wait longer. Also, if you want to remove it to hide it, I would definitely wait longer than six weeks.

How do you calculate a closing balance?

Opening cash balance is obtaining by looking at the last closing balance. In businesses this is usually done on the first day of the month. So the opening cash balance on the first day of the month will be the same is the closing cash balance of the month before.

How long can i keep my tongue ring out after having it for a month and a half?

What is it with you people getting piercings then asking how long you can take it out for? The point is if you get a piercing (like a tongue) you leave it alone and leave it in, there is no real reason to be removing it unless you are going for a CAT scan or an MRI there is no reason to take it out. Work can not force you to remove it because it's an oral piercing and not visibleunless you are goofing around with it, in that case smarten up and quit goofing with it. You don't need to remove it of GYM classes (what about kids with braces, they don't remove them for GYM) so there is no reason other than those I have out lined, where you need to remove the barbell. OK so for some reason you want to take it out, you have maybe a 1 hour window at the most where if you remove the barbell you can put it back in without any long term damage to the very new piercing you have. The piercing can become damaged by repeated removal and replacement so if you can get away without removing it the better.
