Cats will take care of their kittens for as long as they are around each other. Case in point I have a mother cat and still have two fo her kittens, not so much kittens now. But she let them latch on periodically for a year when we took them all in to be fixed. The three of them groom each other and are always together. The younger ones are about 6 years old and the mother a year older. It is going to depend on the mother and how long they are together.
Well, it mostly depends on how well they get along with others. Just let them do what they want with each other, but if they start to fight break it up. Do not favour one cat more than the other :)
That really depends on you. If you've never had a cat before, go online and research what you need to have ready and ways that your home needs to be "cat proofed" before bringing kitty home. If you are grieving the loss of a cat, it may take you a while to know that you are ready for another feline friend. Also, if you have other cats in the household, you may want to research ways of introducing new cats to each other. Sometimes things go well and without a hitch and then sometimes it takes the established members of the household a while to accept the "newbie."
It depends on the type of cat it is. If it's a Blue Tabby or a Calico, it takes about 2 weeks.
It depends, most cats and dogs get on together really well and quickly, while some don't, usually if they've been neglected or have never seen a cat/other animal before.
In about two years they should be fully grown and developed. It may vary depending on the cat, though. Often they mature later or earlier.
Cats can take Pimor but their dosage needs to be adjusted. The drug is given to dogs to help with skin infections.

The long stringy stuff coming from your cats butt is probably worms. To treat this take your cat to the vet.
