Chocolate milipedes legs are very short compared to there fat bodys and can only take short strides, however the amount of legs they have alows them to pick up medium speed. Chocolate milipedes hibernate during the dry season and come out in January in the wet season. They live within leaf litter on the floor throughout most of the forests of Africa. They rach the lenght of 16-20 cm long and only tend to burrowwhen shedding there skins. Chocolate milipedes are omnivores and eat both leafes and meat!
