Red eared sliders can live up to 40 yrs in captivity. In the wild though they usually only live up to 20 yrs. With good care and warmth, your turtles will live for a while. Make sure you give them nice warm light bulb so they can relax. If you want your turtle to live for a while, I suggest you buy a light bulb.
