You can buy a small plastic tank that hangs on the inside edge of your big tank and put babies in that until they get larger. Or you can just buy another ,smaller, aquarium just for babies. Or, you can load up your aquarium with plants so the babies can hide. Not much else you can do. Sorry, missred the question. I find that when fry are large enough to swim like a normal fish, as opposed to bouncing along or swimming kind of erratic, that they are usually safe from the parents. Although keep an eye open. If a fish is small enough to eat with no trouble there's always a chance it will get eaten.
Well it depends. If your msle goldfish shows signs of being a predator. Remoe the fish immediately.
Most newts should be kept away from the adults. If adults do not eat enough they will eat their own eggs.
Well, when goldfish spawn they lay thousands upon thousands of eggs. The male goldfish then sprays a cloud of milt which fertilises the eggs. For a goldfish to only lay one egg which, somehow triggers a male goldfish to release a cloud of milt, is highly unlikely. Truthfully, it is the person breeding the goldfish who chooses how many fish they are willing to raise. Technically, they could choose to only keep 1 goldfish fry but realistically they would not be willing to throw away the lives of so many baby goldfish fry.
They will all eat one anothers young but adults should get along OK. I do not understand why you would wish to keep wild Rudd in with domesticated Goldfish and Orf though.
keep it away from them
yes she does!
=all you have to do is keep the adults kissing and stuff like that and it will take 3 Sim days for the baby to come.=
I have some baby minnows and the eat goldfish flakes. you should also keep them separated from other minnows because they might try to eat them.
Use a spray bottle (with water in it) to keep your cat away from the goldfish. However, this doesn't stop the cat from being curious, so you might just want to put the goldfish in an area where the cat can not get to it; just to be safe.
Do Goldfish make good Pets to keep? Yes with the right equipment.
You are describing unusual behaviour for goldfish. Are you sure you have 'Goldfish' as in (Carassius auratus)?
Bibs keep baby cleaner when you feed them. Sometimes adults will wear them for food like ribs.
