You don't 'need' to suffer at all
are you sexy
Typically doctors will provide an ankle sprain patient with a splint or cohesive wrap, but in some more severe cases a cast could be applied, but not typically.
This type of pain is called Ankle Sprain. This is the most common and the most relevant to this topic. This is typically normal but you will need to see a doctor if you are unable to walk.
A sprained ankle can hurt one person and not another. It just depends on a few things. First, it can depend on how sensitive you are to pain. My brother broke his arm in 3 places and did not cry, and when I fell off my bike and scraped my knee I was crying. There are 3 types of sprained ankles: grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3. If you get a grade 1 ankle, you typically will have a little pain, swelling, and tenderness. With grade 1, the ligament is stretched or the fibers of the ligaments are ripped a little. You can tolerate putting your weight on it. With grade 2, some of the fibers are torn but not all of them so there is a big increase in pain, swelling, and tenderness. You usually will have difficulty putting pressure on that ankle. Grade 3 is the worse. The ligament is torn, and you can't put weight on it without a lot of pain. There is a lot of swelling and tenderness. You will need to stay off it (though you should stay off of any sprained ankle). Remember RICE (Rest (stay off of it), Ice (20-30min), Compression (Ace bandage), and Elevation (for first 48 hours)). A broken or fractured ankle/ foot can free the same as a sprained ankle (there are similar symptoms), so it can be quite painful to have a sprained ankle.
You can, but if you want your ankle to heal quickly then you really should rest it. A sprain is painful, and tumbling will hurt. Plus depending on the intensity of your tumbling, some tumbling (like back-handsprings or tucks) require the tumbler to have strong ankles. When your ankle is sprained, it is not at its full strength. So you need to be careful, because tumbling with your sprained ankle could lead to more injuries. I really suggest that you rest your ankle, put as little weight on it as possible, use ice and heat when needed, wrap it, and give it time. When the pain and swelling goes down a little, start tumbling little by little. You'll be back to tumbling in no time, though, so don't worry. A sprain takes much less time to heal than a fracture does.
Hi if u sprain u wrist do u need a sling plz tell me
Well, I believe that it depends on the type of door frame that you are reffereing to. If this particular door frame was made of spiky iron needles, then yes, I do think that you could sprain your ankle on it (and possibly break off your whole foot). Of course, you would need to test this theory to really find the answer, and I, for one, do not really want to test this kind of thing. I'll leave that part up to you. Good luck! If the ankle is broken it will need to be set in plaster. If it is "merely" a sprain, support with a crepe bandage should do the trick. In both cases, pain-killers will be needed, as ankle injuries can be very sore.
if you have sprained or rolled your ankle, it is going to hurt. alot. when i sprained mine it hurt for so long after and i was crying for the rest of the day. a sprain is actually worse than a break, because it hurts more. bones are not connected to any nerves and if it's a break, it will hurt for a bit after the injury has occurred, maybe 10 minutes after, however a sprain means that the ligaments are stretched and need to be shrunk back, meaning of course it is going to hurt more. the best thing you can do is RICE, and hire crutches. DO NOT DO SPORT FOR A FEW WEEKS!
Depending on the injury. If its a bad sprain or and break, then keep the ice on it for a while. For minor injuries, there is no need to keep it on there too long
you cant walk and you tear tissue
The first thing you need to do is have it X-rayed to make sure it isn't broken. If it is a sprain, then you need to keep it elevated, with ice packs to help reduce the swelling and pain. You also need to not walk on it until the swelling and pain have abated. I have had this happen to me before so make sure you keep it elevated!
