Write an agreement and have him sign it. If he does not collect his items at this date and time it's yours. AKA E-BAY; cash money woman, go get some!

Good advice, but each place has different laws regarding property. Find out what they are where you are. Property is supposed to be covered in the divorce decree. If you used a layer for the divorce, that is the person to ask about your local laws.

When you do notify your ex to pick up his things with a deadline, keep it professional and business like and do it in writing. E-mail will work, or if you don't have that option, regular mail. If you don't know his current address, use his last known address (what ever was used to serve the divorce papers). If the mail comes back to you, keep it unopened. Make at least two efforts in writing, THEN use answer number one. If you don't follow procedure and keep the documentation of it, he may take you to court and sue you for the value of the property. You want to have proof that you did what you could in a professional manner.
