Depends on how old it is, what size, and just how your body heals. If you have to take it out for work or something. Wear a clear glass or plastic retainer and them ask them if its fine for you to wear. Otherwise, you'll just have ot risk leaving it naked.

∙ 15y agoIt depends on how long you have had the piercing. If you have had it for over a year it should stay open for a relatively long time, a completely healed piercing will stay open for weeks maybe even months or years. To prevent the loss of you r piercing though, try not to leave it out of you want to keep it, and wait at least 6 weeks to even change it.

∙ 15y agoDepending when It was pierced, it varies. If it was just pierced, and you take it out, it could be hours, or like two days. If you had it pierced for a few weeks, probably more like a week or two.
