Depending on the size. Usually about 2 hours though.

It is not true that when electric current flows through a long conductor each electron moves through a relative short distance because electric current is the continues flow of electrons.

The electric light bulb was made by several people independent of each other. Thomas Edison is considered the creator of an effective light bulb. Others did not work as well or last as long.
He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long lasting, practical electric light bulb.
Ususally about an hour or so...
Anywhere from 6- 35 hours. Lol. No it should take around 2 hours
Usually about an hour.
depends on the wattage of the elements along with the temp of the cold water but i would guess an hour or two
To heat up a tankful of cold water will take about an hour initially. Once it's hot, the heaters will automatically come on when temperature drops a bit .
Around 3 hours
Propane stove. Propane water heater. Propane fridge. Propane heater. Propane gas lights. Propane generator w/storage cells for electric use. Propane A/C units (not cheap, but have long life.)
Most are rated for 5-10 years depending on cost.
About 4 seconds as it comes crashing to the ground
20 years at least, provided the hot water heater is serviced and maintained by a plumber once a year.
As long as it is installed correctly, it doesn't matter what type it is. Propane, natural gas or electric.
As you say you had to reset the circuit breakers, the water heater's heating element may have "died" by shorting to Ground or Earth. This could be the reason why its circuit's breakers tripped to cut off the power. Time to buy a new water heater...? <><><> Typically, you should be able to tell a difference as quick as 15 minutes or so, but it may take well over an hour or two for it to reach "operating temperature". Some electric hot water heaters, you can even hear them as they heat, and you typically can the gas ones. Your biggest variables, assuming you're not using hot water as it heats, is the amount of water that is in the heater, as well as the heating power the heater puts out into the water. Electrics are practically 100% efficient, but gas ones are not even close, but they do operate at higher heater temps and can heat the water faster. <><><> It takes about an hour for a fifty gallon electric water heater to heat up.
