I really wish someone had answered this. I can tell you mine has been in that pot for 1-2 months and absolutely nothing is happening. I read somewhere that they need a cold period. I think that person said that it was a good idea to plant it in a pot, put it in the fridge (or was it freezer?) for 3 months in winter and take it out in spring. I may try that next year. If you get real winters where you live, maybe you can just leave the pot out over winter?
Christmas trees come in different sizes, and of course, the larger the size, the longer it took for the tree to grow to that size. But typically a Christmas tree takes 7 years to mature.

According to various websites, it can take anywhere from 6 years to 10 years to grow a Christmas tree. The time frame likely depends on the tree variety, the seedling's age when planted at the tree farm, and the growing area.
About 10 years i think but i could be wrong... An oak tree, depending on variety, can take 2 to 300 years to reach maturity.
Yes, most tree lots are open on Christmas Day. Even better, you will likely get a discount on your tree because you waited so long.
You must water the Christmas Tree once everyday because it needs a lot of water
