I assume you mean "Psychiatrist", a medical Doctor Who specialized in brain disorders that lead to behavioral and/or emotional issues.

In the United States:

4 years of college after highschool to obtain a B.A. or B.S.

4 years of medical school after college to obtain an M.D.

+

4 years of "residency" (which is paid but supervised) post M.D.

Assuming everything went smoothly, 12 years. Keep in mind that many people take time off between undergrad and medical school, so most would actually be off on their own at 30 years old or older.
