hello i just looked into this field and there are a few ways to do this occupation ~ there are certificate programs at a trade school that will train you and then you can takethe state test , and not receive a degree but a certificate and these schools are generally so expensive and in my opinion not worth it go to your local community college and do it there very cheaply and get the associate degree for a fraction of the money and pass the state board, hope it helps and good luck in your decision to get more education i applaud any one who desires to learn
A radiologist is a physician with a medical degree such as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), or Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. This is different from a radiology technologist or technician. As such, it will take approximately eight years beyond high school to complete medical school, which does not include internship and residency requirements.
It depends of the level of education you are pursuing. You can start at the associates level for programs in radiology, which is a two year program of study provided you take the program as prescribed by the college.

There are training and certificate programs for radiology techs that take around a year, as well as associate's and bachelor's degrees that take anywhere from two to four years. The best credentials are a combination of formal training, a professional license, and work experience.
Essentially - an Associates degree

how many years in college does it take to become a diagnostic radiologist noninvasive?
None. You don't become a radiologist by going to school. First you need to become a licensed medical doctor by going to a four year medical school, then you take one year as an intern and another 2-3 years to become a radiologist by training in a hospital
Yes but you would have to go through med school and specialize in radiology like everyone else, which will take a lot of time. If you wanted to know whether a Rad Tech can just step in and become a radiologist by experience....then no.
It takes skills and great handels with knifes
